About Lori

Lori Botello was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas.  An only child to a Bilingual elementary school teacher and service adviser at a car dealership, Lori’s parents instilled in her from an early age that hard work builds a strong character.  Lori excelled in school and attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. Immediately after graduating from UT, Lori attended South Texas College of Law in downtown Houston as a full-time student to earn her law degree.

With the strong work ethic her parents instilled in her from childhood, Lori was the first member of her family to graduate from a major university and obtain her law degree.  Once Lori received her license to practice law, she immediately began working on her own, providing a broad range of legal services to individual and commercial clients. Over time, the focus of Lori’s law practice has narrowed to defending those accused of committing crimes on the state and federal level.  Always encouraged and supported to follow her dreams by her family, Lori now seeks to be the Judge of County Criminal Court at Law #11 to bring her perspective to the Court, follow the law, run an efficient docket, and provide conservative justice to the citizens in Harris County, Texas.

Lori is married to her college sweetheart, Scott Christenson, and together they have two wonderful daughters, Violet & Anika. The family enjoys outings to the park, the beach, and exploring all that Houston has to offer.  Lori hopes to meet as many voters as she can, shake their hands while she is on the campaign trail, and receive your vote for County Criminal Court #11.
